They were accommodating, happily arranging a late check-in that suited my schedule perfectly. This kind of service adds a personal touch to your experience. While there's no on-site dining option until midday-with a McDonald's nearby for those in dire need of a quick meal-the hotel does offer a welcoming bar/lounge area for unwinding. In terms of overall value, the heating and free Wi-Fi available in the rooms were appreciated, especially during the cooler Edinburgh evenings. For those weighing luxury against cost, Cascina offers a sensible choice without compromising too much on comfort or service.
